Showcasing authentic Traditional Wushu skills, building friendship through martial arts, and raising standards with every event we host.
GBWKF organises structured competitions that showcase the technical excellence and diversity of Traditional Chinese Martial Arts. Our events provide a professional platform for athletes, coaches, and clubs to demonstrate skill, discipline, and dedication within a fair and supportive environment.
A significant milestone was achieved at the 2nd Traditional Wushu Championships in September 2025, where over 110 participants competed across Northern, Southern, and Internal styles. The event brought together practitioners from multiple regions and clubs, reflecting the depth and breadth of Traditional Wushu in the UK.
Our competitions are delivered with clear judging standards, experienced officials, and a strong emphasis on athlete development and sportsmanship. We are grateful to the judges, volunteers, and organisers whose professionalism ensures the smooth running of each event.
Building on this momentum, we are preparing our next major competition, including the upcoming European Championships. Further details will be announced soon.
We welcome clubs and athletes who are committed to raising standards and contributing to the continued growth of Traditional Chinese Martial Arts.
