Traditional Wushu Championships
(Friendship Through Martial Arts)
We would like to extend our warmest welcome to all practitioners of Traditional wushu – KungFu to join us for this special gathering. This event is a wonderful opportunity for martial artists of all levels to showcase their skills, learn from one another, and celebrate the rich diversity of our traditional Chinese martial arts styles in the UK.
Our championships are designed to highlight the beauty, precision, and discipline of Traditional Wushu. Whether you are an experienced martial artist or a beginner, this event is an excellent platform to demonstrate your talent, connect with fellow practitioners, and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Traditional Wushu – KungFu.
The championships aim to foster a sense of community and unity among participants. We believe in the power of martial arts to bring people together, transcending differences and promoting mutual respect and understanding. This is a politics-free and open event, welcoming everyone who shares our passion for Wushu – KungFu.
Participants will have the chance to compete in various categories, including Empty Hand, Short Weapon, Long Weapon, Double Weapon, Flexible Weapon, Internal, Internal Empty Hand, and Internal Weapon. Each category offers a unique challenge and an opportunity to shine.

Terms and Conditions
- Acceptance of Terms By completing the registration form and making the payment, you agree to adhere to all the terms and conditions outlined here and in any supplementary materials provided by the event organizers.
- Registration and Payment
- All participants must complete the registration form in full.
- Payment for the entry fee and spectators’ tickets must be made via the provided PayPal link / Bank transfer.
- Ensure the name is spelt correctly, as it will appear on the certificate exactly as entered.
- Participation and Conduct
- Participants must comply with all event rules and regulations.
- Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or harmful by the event organizers may result in disqualification and removal from the event without a refund.
- Changes and Cancellations
- The event organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event schedule, rules, or location without prior notice or liability.
- In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified as soon as possible and provided with information regarding refunds or rescheduling.
- Liability and Waiver
- Participants and their parents/guardians accept the inherent risks of participating in this event.
- The event organizers, BCCMA, MAASIF, Shaolin Temple CC, GB Wushu KungFu Federation, its officers, members, and any associated persons will not be held liable for any injury or loss arising from participation in the event.
- Video and Media Rights
- By entering this event, participants and their parents/guardians acknowledge that the organizer has exclusive video rights.
- The performing rights of the named competitor are waived in favour of the organizer or its appointed agent for the purpose of video reproduction, distribution, advertising, and sale.
- Medical Condition Declaration
- Participants declare that they have no brain injury or related medical condition and have not been knocked out or concussed in the last six months.
- Parental/Guardian Consent
- Parents/guardians confirm they have been made aware of the event’s risks and accept responsibility for the care and behaviour of the participant.
- The athlete’s coach is responsible for monitoring the use of the warm-up area, which will not be supervised by anyone else.
- Coaches/parents are responsible for checking the displayed entry list and ensuring the athlete is ready when called. Any errors must be notified to the organisers before the competition begins.
- Organizers may merge any categories at their absolute discretion.

- Spectators tickets – for all age 5+ can be purchased at the door £5.00 per entry or online on the link below at discounted and family rates. .
